Constructivism in the Digital Age: The Story Behind Constructive's Illustration System

Project Overview

Over the past 8 years, I’ve illustrated many of the key artwork for Constructive’s content marketing articles. Since then, my work has evolved into creating a dynamic and consistent brand illustration system.

The core inspiration came from the Constructivist art movement of the early 1900s. We drew from its rich visual language of bold geometric forms, limited color palettes, and dynamic compositions. The art movement, which sought to put art in service of social purposes, proved to be the perfect foundation for illustrating topics like brand strategy and social impact.

The result is a reinterpretation that brings the historical principles of Constructivism into the modern digital age. The new system allows for rapid creation of visually striking, thematically consistent illustrations that resonate with a contemporary audience.
